Johnnys Kicks x Chicago Bulls AJ1 Highs

This week we caught up with Designer, John Trottier of Johnnys Kicks on Instagram and Head designer of Yankee Kicks about his awesome sneaker collab with the Chicago Bulls.  John said that the Chicago Bulls team approached him because they were huge fans of his designs and other carving esthetics. So they approached him to design a pair of custom AJ1’s and you can see in the pics below, on why they chose him. 

He told us “with it being Chicago, I wanted to keep it very classic. Also wanted to do something that hadn’t been done before (which was adding a netting around the collar).” 

The Bulls sent John authentic game, worn jerseys, and shorts to incorporate in the design. Also incorporated black pony hair for the swooshes to represent the bull. 

John also teamed up with American Express, to have a drawling for someone to win these sneakers (Via the Chicago Bulls App) on Feb 22nd.
