Air Jordan 4 “Flight Club” Is a Throwback Done Right

BE@RBrick Nike Dunk Low "Animal"

BE@RBRICK is colloborating again for another sneaker release using the familiar furry animal aesthetic. Their Nike partnership goes all the way back to the early 2000s. Although they havn't had tons of drops, and that may be by choice, the accessory brand has been a popular option for sneaker fans. The brand itelf has amassed a sizeable following through it's colorful and playful take on the accessories/toys market. The name itself says what it's about, and this taste for fur and animals has gone into it's Nike design.

While some of it's collabs have been on the extremely furry side, the Nike Dunk Low "Animal" is tamed in that regard. It's more textured than furry.

Let's take a closer look at the Nike Dunk Low BE@RBRICK "Animal." There are only two colors in use, black and white. The textured overlays are a dark grey contrasting with the black on the laterals, vamp, and tongue. There's the large white swoosh on the laterals which extends to the back heel. This matches the white on the collar, tongue label, midoles/outsoles. The Nike Dunk Low BE@RBRICK "Animal" should drop in the US very soon, but is available in the EU at this time.

Nike Air Barrage are Back from the 90s

It looks like turf training shoes from the 90s are still in, because Nike is paying homage to those iconic kicks that were released before the millennium. If you were born after the year 2000 chances are you don’t understand their hype or significance. And Nike does well to capture the design aesthetics of the period that the original Air Barrage Mid was made in. The attention-grabbing, loud colorways are evidence of that. The rubber sole has Nike air units that absorb the stress of your steps. The classic comfort of the original is included, because of the plush, mesh uppers and padded collars for all-day wearability. The Velcro portrays a nice old touch. Let’s take a look at each colorway. With the base green colorway, the vibrant orange coloring of the Nike logo and other parts against the green gives off a bold, retro look. It’s a great compliment of colors, and probably the most attention-grabbing of the group. The base blue and white colorways look like the second...
