The Jordan vault has timeless classics for Nike to draw from, which they have done well so far this year. Nike is releasing some high-profile Jordans in 2020, like the Jordan "Sunset" during the summer, but AJ1 Retro High OG “Court Purple” offers a cool addition to this year's lineup. 

This one is inspired by the Jordan 1985 "Metallic Purple" from the Jordan vault. The rendition doesn't stray too far from the original. We get many MJs every year, but the AJ1's metallic purple really stands out despite the simple iconic silhouette. 

Let's take a closer look at the AJ1 Retro High OG “Court Purple." The fabric is shiny! Going by the name, you'd think the shiny parts were made of plastic or metal, but they've gone with some shiny purple fabric this time.

The purple-colored areas are in the AJ1's iconic collar, swooshes, tongue, and ankle. The shiny satin fabric resides on the collar. To finish off the look, purple colors the outsoles.

The Air Jordan 1 "Court Purple" will be available from Nike.com sometime in July.
