Nike Zoom Pegasus 41 “Philadelphia Eagles”: Philly’s Game-Day Grail for 2025

D Rose 11

Derrick Rose's numbers are coming back. We're not talking about sneaker sales, but his on court figures since going through a massive dip in his career. The D Rose sneaker line is moving along with an eleventh model boasting five colors. The former MVP doesn't have as much name power in the sneaker industry as Lebron James and Kyrie Irving, but some will back him on the name he'd made with the Chicago Bulls.

Injuries have impacted his game play, but strong showings in 2018-2020 is helping him stand out more in Adidas' circle of basketball sponsorships. Pre injury Derrick Rose was hype. Fans will remember his ferocious speed and ability to run through the opposition all the way to the hoop. If he had stayed in prime form and in Chicago, perhaps his sneaker line would be competing with the likes of James, Irving and other greats in the western world.

Overseas, though, the D Rose line is boasting super star figures. It's been available in China months ago, and we're now getting a release on December 5th, a couple of days from now.

Coincidentally, five colorways will be available for $120 USD each. The options are unique, having their own color themes, and we hear they have backstories. Everyone loves back stories, and that's the trend with basketball players in recent years, which makes for less generic sneakers.

The D Rose 11 colorways aren't too crazy either. They're mostly two-toned sneakers with beige, black, red hues and some others as pictured below. The colors and patterns aren't meaningless or just for show, but are themed after things and memories close to Rose, bits of his life, his mother and his home town city of Chicago. The inspirational sneakers feature textile uppers, with the word "Lightstrike" making an appearance on the midsoles.

The D Rose 11 will be available on December 5th.

Amsterdam’s Love for the Air Max 1

When you think of sneaker culture in Europe, one city always stands out: Amsterdam. And when you think of Amsterdam, there’s one sneaker that reigns supreme — the Nike Air Max 1. For over 30 years, the Air Max 1 hasn’t just been a shoe in the Netherlands — it’s been a lifestyle, a cultural marker, and for many, a national obsession. The Birth of a Legend in the Netherlands When Tinker Hatfield designed the Air Max 1 in 1987, he gave the world its first visible Air unit. While the U.S. embraced the shoe, it was in Amsterdam and the Netherlands where the Air Max 1 found a second home. By the 90s, Dutch sneakerheads were rocking Air Maxes in clubs, on the streets, and in neighborhoods from Rotterdam to Utrecht. The bold colors, the visible bubble, and the mix of sport + style fit perfectly with Dutch youth culture. The Air Max 1 became more than footwear — it was identity.
